Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this performance tool, Linesman Pliers. Now these are our multifunction set of pliers. They're about 8.5 inches long. As you can see, they got a retainer back here and they are spring loaded, so I can put that retainer on there.
They've also got that spring there in the middle, and obviously you got your different options up here for splicing wire, for crimping connectors, and for just simply cutting wire, as well as some grip on the outside and the inside in case you need to, you know, grab something and give it a twist or a tighten or something. Now these are designed for a range of electrical projects, as I've mentioned, cutting, stripping, that kind of thing. They can strip and cut eight to 16 AWG solid wire and 10 to 18 AWG stranded wire. Now they can cramp insulated and non-insulated connectors from 0.75 to six millimeter in diameter. And these teeth and everything I mentioned are gonna be great for gripping and pinching.
The handles are a texture finish here, so you don't throw them slipping out of your hands and those kind of things. So they're very nice. It's a forged chrome vanadium steel alloy is what it's made of, and it's gonna be nice and durable for a long life of the pliers and give you reliable fragility. So my personal two cents on these, they're not the most expensive pair I've ever used or held, but they're also not the least expensive. They're kind of a mid-range.
So if you're doing some basic projects, maybe rewiring a trailer or something like that here and there, these are gonna be great. Throw 'em in a toolbox, throw 'em in the storage compartment, maybe the cargo air of the trunk or something. They're gonna be great for you. If you're doing something like an electrician daily, obviously, you'd wanna get maybe a little better pair for something of that nature. But again, nice set just to have for the what if factor, if nothing else, or if you're rewiring a trailer.
That's my take on this performance tool by Linesman Pliers. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
